These terms govern your use of the Bower app. Please read them carefully.
Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using Bower, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Bower. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
Account Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.
Subscription & Payments
Bower offers a free tier and a paid subscription ("Bower Forever"). Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to their respective payment terms. One subscription covers both linked partners. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Refunds
All refunds are handled by Apple (via reportaproblem.apple.com) or Google Play, depending on where the purchase was made. We do not process refunds directly.
Content Ownership
You retain all ownership of the content you create in Bower (prompts, notes, letters, calendar events, game responses). Bower does not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.
Content Sharing
Bower is designed as a private space between two linked partners. Your content is shared only with your connected partner. We do not access, view, or share your content except as required to operate the service or comply with law.
Prohibited Conduct
You may not use Bower for any illegal activity, to harass others, to distribute malware, or to interfere with the app's operation. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these rules.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Bower is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.
Limitation of Liability
Bower and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Termination
You may delete your account at any time through the app. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of San Francisco County, California.
